Singles travel is a great pleasure for women.

A woman must be crazy to go to singles travel. It is written in all guidebooks and tourists magazines. All people are sure of it except women themselves who consider it adventurous to go to singles travel. They think singles travel makes them free and independent because you are free to choose the route of travel and the thing you wish to do. Besides it is easier to make new friends when you travel alone. For example, one woman said that by the time her plane had landed she had about four people with whom she would like to have a lunch.

The fact was established through the research that has been carried out at University of Florida. The professor of Department of rest and tourism of the university has interrogated 50 women in the age of 20 - 63 years from USA and the Great Britain. Women, who were interrogated anonymously, said that singles travel inspires more, than frightens. Knowing that in many countries women traveling alone are treated not very well, women thought over their self-defense. For example, they try to stay in the safe part of a city, refusing from rooms on the ground floor and being careful to people around them.

Some women say that sometimes they feel lonely during their singles travel and want someone to share their loneliness. However even these feelings can't keep them from traveling alone.
