If flowers start withering (for example, in case they have been without water for a long time) they can be restored in the following way: put flowers in hot water (80-90 degrees centigrade), 10-15cm deep. After water becomes cool, leave flowers in it for other several hours. After that cut off stalks on that height on which they were in hot water, and put them into a vase.
Keep flowers away from sun rays, better in some cool place. Besides, you should know that fans, radiators, the TV affect flowers negatively.
Before putting flowers in a vase, pay attention to the following recommendations:
1. Fill a clean vase with water and add some flowers keeping preparation strictly following instructions on packing.
2. Bottom leaves need to be removed because if you put them in water they will get wet, which means, wet leaves will promote growth of bacteria.
3. Cut off the end of a stalk with the help of a sharp knife, obliquely. It is advisable to make it under water so that water but not air gets into a stalk.
