Foreign affairs in Saudi Arabia

The unprecedented case occurred with respect to Saudi Arabia and Finland.
In the hot Eras -Riade a woman who worked as nurse in a hospital was carved for the disrespect to the local rules of behavior. Saudi authorities for the first time took Finnish citizen for the note when she went to the street from the Embassy premises of Finland with the box of the jars of beer in the hands. They stopped and explained to the woman that all beverages which contain alcohol in Saudi Arabia were forbidden; therefore to walk about with them not assumed. Everything managed that time. They let the nurce go.

But then this lady allowed such liberty to which the authorities to be subdued already in no way. They notched nurse at that moment, when it was occupied by love with the foreigner with whome she had foreign affairs, on the rear seat of the car which was standing in a parking lot of hospital in Eras -Riade. The doctor was let go to, and they brought woman into the police department, where she was told of the standard of behavior in the public places: sex without marriage on top of that in the street is not permitted in Saudi Arabia.

They condemned nurse to two weeks of confinement to quarters, and it seemed to her that everything managed. But it was not there! In the last day of period the lady was invited into the police, where they declared to her, that besides the confinement to quarters she will be punished by beating. According to the evidence of Finnish newspapers two policemen placed the woman on to varnish and held her and the third removed from her trousers, and the fourth handled by rod. After this they allowed to put on trousers. And then they transported her into the airport and put on the first aircraft which was leaving for Europe.

How did authorities of Finland relate to this uncommon event? It is thus far known only that Finnish embassy in Saudi Arabia advised its citizens strictly follow laws and the tradition of this country.
