As far as dating advice is concerned, if you don't want the relationship you have just started to be finished at once, it is better not to tell your new partner the whole truth about your past. That is, only if you have anything to hide. In other words, if you ever made any mistakes in the past or if you disappointed or cheated on your previous partner, in general, if you have already had some negative experience while being in love with somebody, then you should save your be loved this unpleasant information. Even if everything is long forgotten and you had already realized your faults and made up your mind about changing yourself for the better, some memories can hurt. Under circumstances like that the majority would prefer to stay in blissful ignorance than to learn some not quite pleasant details about their partners.
